About Us
The Bay of Islands Recreation Centre is located on the grounds of the Bay Of Islands College at 1-9 Derrick Road ,Kawakawa in the beautiful Bay Of Islands.
It is owned by Sport Northland, managed by Hapori Aquatics – a Belgravia Leisure and Community Business and Environment Centre (CBEC) Joint venture, supported by the Far North District Council and sits on Bay of Islands College grounds owned by the Ministry of Education.
We have a 25 metre, 6 lane heated pool, the gym consists of a weights room, cardio area, group fitness room and a squash court.
